Look Before You Leap

Once a fox was roaming in the dark. As ill luck would have it, he fell into a well. He tried his best to come out but all to no use. So, he had to remain there till the next morning.

At about fore-noon the next day, a goat came that way. She peeped into the well and saw the fox there.

“What are you doing there, Mr Fox ?” asked the goat.

“I came here to drink water. It is the best I have ever tasted. Come and see for yourself,” replied the sly fox.

Without thinking even a bit, the goat jumped into the well. She quenched her thirst and looked for a way to get out.

The fox said, “I’ve an idea. Stand on your hind legs. I’ll climb on your head and get out. Then I shall help you out too.” The silly goat did so and the fox got out of the well.

While walking away, he said, ” Had you been wise, you would never have got in without seeing how to get out.”

Hehee…. I think you could find the moral values contained in this story with yourself 😉

Haste makes waste

Once there was a hunter. He lived in a village. He had a dog. It was very faithful. One day, the hunter went to the city with his wife. He left his son at hire. A wolf came there. It entered the house and attacked the baby. The dog fought with the wolf and killed it.

In the evening, the hunter and his wife returned from the city. The dog was waiting outside for its master. When it saw its master, he licked its feet. The hunter saw the stains of blood on the dog’s mouth.

He thought that the dog had killed his son. He became very angry. He took his gun and killed the dog. When he found his son safe inside the house and the wolf lying dead near him, he wept bitterly.

So, we can see that what we see is not necessarily what they seem.

A Little Boy’s Selfless Love

There was a story of a little girl named Liza who was suffering from a disease and needed blood from her five-year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying,“Yes, I’ll do it if it will save Liza.”

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I start to die right away?” Being young, the boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give her all his blood.

Value :

We need a same spirit like a boy. We should learn from the boy and get ready for every sacrifice for our love ones.Because every sacrifice gives you a Big Reward. And If the sacrifice is given in the way of ” ALLAH “. You’ll get reward in this world and also in Jannah . ^_^

The fence

eee u

This is a story about an boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said “you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.” You can put a knife in a man and draw it out.

Value   : It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there. Make sure you control your temper the next time.

The Window

hospital_beds the_window

There were two seriously ill men, were in the same hospital room. The man was allowed to sit for an hour to drain fluid from his lungs and his bed next to the window. While the other simply lying.

They talked about their lives  for hours on end. About family, work, and their activities. The man who sitting next to the window was spending time with lively activity and color of the outside world. As the man who sit next to the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the beautiful scenery. Yeah, all the events out there he told to the man on the other side in detail. Until one day the man on the other side thought that all that seems unfair. Why he should have the pleasure of it, while himself did not? That he thought. Because of that, he could not sleep. He could not stop thinking about it.

One night, the man who next to the window began to cough.  He was choking on the fluid in his lungs. He tried to grope button to call for help. While the other men on the other side was unmoved to press the button to call the nurse. About five minutes later coughing and choking stopped, along with the sound of breathing. Now, there is only silence – silence. The next day it turned out the man was already dead by the window. last man on the other side asked to occupy a bed near the window.

Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it all himself. Finally, he was very happy because now he will see what the dead man described. But he was in shock, why there is only a cement wall outside the window. Then he pressed the button to call the nurse and restless, he asked why the deceased roommate who is telling all the beauty outside the window? There is no beauty whatever he saw. Is this the new wall and recently? Why did he give clear details but does not exist? he asked. The nurse then said, “Perhaps he just wanted to Encourage you and make you happy. You see, your roommate was totally blind. ”

Well, you see that the happiness sometimes we can not see and feel. We usually assume it is a normal thing, but it is the most beautiful gift from God. Although we do not get happiness but we can give it.

My Mom Had Only One Eye

Well, reading this story make me shed tears. This is a story about a son who hated his mother because his mother just had only one eye. He considered it such an embarrassment.  His mother worked as a cooker for students and teachers to support the family. When he was in elementary school, once his mother had come to the school to say hello to him. And it made him ashamed. “How could she do this to me?” said him. Then he ignored his mother and ran out. The next day his classmates made fun of him because of his mother.

Because of that, he was so embarrassed and felt like to bury himself. He even have the heart to told his mother that if he would only make him a laughing stock, why do not you just die?

Do not know what he was thinking, it makes me feel angry. He was so heartless to say that to his own mother 😥 .

Then he got the opportunity to study abroad. After that he got married, possessed his own home and had children. It makes him happy with their new family. One day his mother came to visit.

When his mother stood by the door, his children laughed at her, and he yelled at her for coming without being invited. He screamed at her, “How dare you come to my house and scare my children! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!”

Then his mother said “Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address.” – and she disappeared out of sight. 😥 😥 😥

One day, there was a reunion invitation and he said to his wife that there was a business trip. After the reunion event, he went to an old shack out of curiosity, a neighbor told him that his mother had died. He did not shed a tear. Wah, this man had really hard heart!

Then they handed him a letter that she had wanted him to have.

“My dearest son,

I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children. I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up. You see……..when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine. I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.
With all my love to you,

Your mother.”
